I'm joined today by Dr. Himanshu Patel, a cardiologist with Advent Health Redmond in Rome, Georgia! This is a conversation I've been excited about for some time, and—much to my delight—the discussion takes many unplanned and exciting turns along the way! We talk about healthy grocery tips, the medical technology of today and on the horizon, the path and struggles of becoming a doctor, and much much more.
As always, thanks for joining us! If you'd like to contact us, you can email us at contact@hindlightmedia.com.

Episode 028: Clubbing Up Fore Bitcoin

Tuesday Apr 09, 2024
I'm joined on a chilly Spring day by one of my newest friends Chris Wilson. We face the nippy winds outside of our local Starbucks—or as I like to say—the HindLight Media corporate office! Chris is quite a multifaceted individual which becomes apparent quickly in the conversation. We talk about his company and what he does on a daily basis—as well as his world-traveling past career as a pro-amateur golfer. However, the bulk of the conversation definitely falls under the Bitcoin umbrella—which was the main culprit of making it difficult to stay within our hour limit.
As always, thanks for joining us! If you'd like to contact us, you can email us at contact@hindlightmedia.com.

In the season finale of “Off the Cuff,” I sit with Disney employee, and longtime pal, Mallory Quinn. This deep-dive conversation offers listeners a rare view into Mallory’s fascinating journey with Disney, and her work experiences at various Disney Parks. Mallory, a lifeguard turned boat captain, shares delightful anecdotes from her time at Disney Parks, and how her personal life weaved into her Disney dreams.
This episode is a treasure trove for Disney fans, brimming with insight about the distinct offerings of each park, revealing the vibrant cultural differences. The show captures her exciting Parisian work life; her life-changing experiences in the Disney College program—as well as some highlights of the practical aspects of applying for the program and its potential.
The episode concludes on a very human note – focusing on impactful programs like Make-A-Wish and actor Gary Sinise’s program for the children of fallen soldiers. Drawing upon her life-altering incident, Mallory emphasizes the power of compassion, significance of everyday experiences, importance of travel, and the pivotal role of kindness in our lives. This emotional conclusion is a toast to the beauty of living in the moment and the magic of life’s little victories.

I'm delighted to welcome retired Luitenieunt Brent Moore of the Georiga Department of Public Safety to the podcast! I met Brent while drone operating for a high school football official live stream. With drone technology as one of his skill areas, we immediately connected, and I quickly invited him to join me on the show.
Brent's career is teeming with fascinating missions, stories, and technology—much of which involving riding in helicopters and keeping people safe by looking for any potential radiation in an area.

Today, I have the privilege of welcoming Alison Sheryll onto the podcast! Alison's story is extraordinary, and I consider myself lucky for snagging her as a guest—simply by being in the right place at the right time.
Among many other things, Alison is a pet communicator, a world-traveling pianist, and a television personality. She is from London, England, and just so happened to be visiting one of my clients while I was there coincidentally capturing video content. This conversation is definitely one for the Off The Cuff hall-of-fame!

Episode 022: Give Me Liberty or Give Me Debt
Tuesday Jan 02, 2024
Tuesday Jan 02, 2024
In our first-ever remote/virtual recording, I'm happy to have one of my very good friends Brent Bailey on the show this week! He and I met in my early days of high school; though, our close relationship began in 2012 when we collaborated on a feature-length documentary for his church as I was finishing up my degree in video production.
Brent graduated from Liberty University in Virginia, and we talk about how he won a full-ride scholarship with a hilarious video where he nearly put his life on the line! (kidding but kinda not...) He now lives in Detroit, Michigan, and is the worship leader on staff for his church.
Some other topics that come to mind include home recipes and methods for coffee-making; Apple and tech in general; our passion for art and music; and our mutual respect for musicians and songwriting.
As always, thanks for joining us! If you'd like to contact us, you can email us at contact@hindlightmedia.com.

Episode 021: The One Where We Go Postal
Tuesday Dec 19, 2023
Tuesday Dec 19, 2023
Today I welcome Joy Battles to the show! Joy is a retired postal carrier and a personal family friend! Her son, Zach, is one of my all-time besties, and I've traveled with their family on more than one occasion—so I basically feel like one of their own.
I've always had a particular interest in the U.S. postal service—mainly because my mind simply wanders from time to time. It's one of three things I consider to be witchcraft in this world, and you'll have to listen to learn the other two! ;)
I greatly enjoyed my conversation with Joy as we dive into the nitty-gritty of all things U.S. mail. And believe me—there are many pieces of the puzzle that I had never even considered!
As always, thanks for joining us! If you'd like to contact us, you can email us at contact@hindlightmedia.com.
